In a paper-based workflow, a coordinator takes intake notes, then separately drafts an email to the attorney summarising those notes. Information is lost or reinterpreted in translation. Qase collapses both steps — the intake form is the record, and the attorney brief is generated from it directly, without a second data entry step.
Configurable intake form
Core fields cover what law society-administered referral services typically capture: practice area, urgency classification, language preference, geographic location, and a matter summary. Your service administrator can add custom fields to match your specific eligibility criteria or reporting requirements — no code changes needed.
Automated attorney brief generation
When a match is confirmed, Qase generates a structured brief from the intake record and sends it to the attorney directly. No retyping, no email templates to fill in manually.
Caller consent capture
Callers provide consent for their intake information to be shared with a panel attorney as part of the referral process. Qase captures this confirmation digitally and stores it timestamped against the referral record. If a law society oversight inquiry raises questions about information handling, the consent record is part of the audit trail — not a separate paper form to be located.
Full intake audit trail
Every action on the intake record is logged: who created it, when each field was completed, when the brief was sent, and when the attorney confirmed. When a law society oversight query arrives — "what happened with Referral #2024-ON-1847 on March 12?" — the answer is in the audit log, not reconstructed from memory and email.
